Spring Special!

A recap of the Baylor Football Spring Game

It was a great day to be back at McLane for the Baylor football spring game. The alumni BBQ competition surely got everyone back in the mood for tailgating and football. Expectations are high as Baylor begins their trek to defend their Big 12 Championship on the heels of the greatest season in Baylor history.

Travis begins the episode explaining what the expectations should be from a Spring game. You won’t be able to gather how good the upcoming season will go, but you can definitely get a feel for which players improved and who might win starting positions.

Then we’ll dive into who impressed Travis the most in the Spring game. There are alot of questions at wide receiver and a few players emerged as potential starters. Spots are still open in the receiver group, but we at least got a good indication of who it may be.

Finally Travis will give his 2 cents on the QB battle and who he believes will be leading the Bears next year at the position. Coach Aranda said he wants to name the starter by the end of Spring football. Will it be Blake Shapen or will it be Gerry Bohanon? Regardless of who is chosen Baylor is in great position at QB and Travis believes both players can lead Baylor to another Big 12 Championship.

There is alot to look forward to for the upcoming season. So sit back, relax, and listen in and let’s enjoy the fact that there’s some Baylor football to talk about.
